1 · Who we are & acceptance

PlayYourCup (the “Service”) is operated by [Operator legal name] (“we”, “us”), India, at [website URL]. By creating an account or using the Service you agree to these Terms, our Privacy Policy and our Content & Community Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2 · Eligibility

You must be 18 years or older and capable of forming a binding contract under Indian law. The Service is intended for users in India.

3 · The Service — a no-stake game of skill

PlayYourCup is a free game of skill in which you predict aspects of sports matches and earn points. It is not betting, gambling, wagering or a real-money game: there are no deposits, no entry stakes and no cash or prizes of monetary value. Optional paid features (if offered) are fixed access fees for non-wagering services (§6), never stakes on outcomes.

4 · Your account

• Sign in via Google and/or a verified phone number; one account only.
• Provide accurate information and keep your login secure.
• Don't impersonate others, share accounts, or create accounts by automated means.

5 · Acceptable use

Follow our Content & Community Policy. You must not cheat, use bots/automation, create multiple accounts, collude to manipulate leaderboards, exploit bugs, or post unlawful, offensive or infringing content.

6 · Optional paid features & refunds

Some features (e.g., creating a clan) may carry a fixed one-time access fee — for the feature itself, not a wager and not linked to any prediction outcome. Prices are shown before purchase. Refund/cancellation terms are at [refund policy link] (Phase 1).

7 · Virtual points

Points, ranks, streaks and badges are a virtual in-game scoring mechanic only. They have no monetary value, are not your property, and cannot be sold, transferred, withdrawn or redeemed for cash or goods. We may adjust scoring or reset points to keep the game fair.

8 · Intellectual property

The Service, the PlayYourCup name and logo, and the seeded crest artwork are owned by us or our licensors. We do not use any official tournament marks, emblems or governing-body names; fixtures are referenced factually. You retain rights to content you create (e.g., a clan name) but grant us a licence to display it.

9 · Third-party content & data

Match results, statistics and live data are supplied by third parties and may be delayed, incomplete or inaccurate. News snippets are summaries shown with attribution and a link to the original source; we are not the author. Advertisements are served by third-party networks.

10 · Suspension & termination

We may warn, suspend, deactivate or permanently ban an account that breaches these Terms or where we reasonably suspect fraud, cheating or abuse. You may delete your account at any time. Provisions that should survive termination (§§7–13) will survive.

11 · Disclaimers

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties to the extent permitted by law. We do not warrant uninterrupted or error-free operation, or that match data/outcomes are accurate or timely.

12 · Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or loss of data, goodwill or points. Because the Service is free and involves no monetary stake, our total aggregate liability shall not exceed ₹1,000 (or the amount you paid for a paid feature in the prior 3 months, whichever is greater).

13 · Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from claims arising out of your misuse of the Service, your content, or your breach of these Terms or applicable law.

14 · Privacy

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we handle your personal data under India's DPDP Act, 2023.

15 · Changes

We may modify or discontinue features and update these Terms. For material changes we'll give in-app notice and update the date above.

16 · Governing law & disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Subject to applicable law, the courts at [City, State] shall have exclusive jurisdiction; parties may first attempt amicable resolution and, where agreed, arbitration under the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996.
